Update: Water Shut Off 6/23/26

Update: Water Shut Off 6/23/26

Update: The water main project on West St is still ongoing.  Last week's rain put the project behind.  Tuesday morning, 6/23/26, at around 8:00 am, the Village will be shutting off the water from Regulator's St down to the end of West Street on the south side of the railroad tracks. The affected homes will be the first 5 homes on Regulators St as well as the two homes on West St near the subdivision, the home on Beck Rd, the apartments at the end of the gravel street past the home on Beck Rd, and the home on S Creston Rd.  Please plan accordingly.  There will be a Boil Order in place once water service is restored and that will continue until the water samples come back clean.  Please stock up on bottled water if possible. Please plan any activities that require water (showers, laundry, etc) to be completed before 8am on 6/23/26.  We know this is an inconvenience and we apologize for that.  We are doing these projects to make our water as clean and as safe as we can, so we appreciate your patience as we continue to do this work.  We will let you know when the Boil Order begins and when it is over.  Again, this only affects the specific homes listed above and we will provide updates as they become available.  After the work on West Street is done, a new fire hydrant and some new valves will be installed in the vicinity of Main and Depot Streets.  We will also keep you updated on that work as it begins and when it ends.  Thank you for your patience.  It is greatly appreciated.
