The next Consolidated Election will be held on April 1, 2025.  The Village has 6 seats that will be up for re-election: Village President, Village Clerk, and 4 Trustee positions.  If anyone is interested in running for any of these offices, you can stop by Village Hall and pick up a Candidate Packet.  The filing window for all Candidate Packets is between 11/12/24 and 11/18/24.  All Candidate Petitions must have a minimum of 9 signatures, and the maximum number of signatures allowed is 59.  You must be a resident of Creston that lives within the Village limits and you must have lived here for at least one year.  You don't have to be a homeowner.  You can be a renter, but you have to have lived within the Village limits for at least a year.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Village Hall at 815-384-4140 or you can email the Village Clerk at [email protected].
